It’s no secret that many Philly fans are none too pleased with McNabb this season (see, they were right to boo him), and with Feeley leading the Eagles to the always important “moral victory” over N.E., it may be time for A.J. to take over.
“Surely this week will likely be full of Philadelphians calling for A.J. Feeley to take over the starting QB job. Even last night on the post game show on Comcast, Ray Diddy said if it were up to him he would stick with the hot hand of A.J. Feeley.”
Of course, we have to look no further than last season for precedent in Philly. McNabb played 10 games before Garcia took over. The Eagles were 5-5 with McNabb (same as this season), before finishing the season 5-2 and winning the division.
So, is Feeley the answer for Philly? Probably not. They have too many injuries and no one (other than Westbrook) at the skill positions. Of course, it’s all gravey to A.J. who has gone from Joey Harrington’s back-up at Oregon, to marrying a smokin’ hot soccer star and nearly beating the unbeatable Patriots.↵
A.J. Feeley May Have Won Himself a Job
