Duke Fans Are Mad at the Mothership

By Chris Mottram
ESPN might as well be the Duke Hoops Network during the basketball season. Twenty (20!) of their games are on ESPN this year. Dick Vitale is basically their mascot. So why then would the Dukies be upset with the Worldwide Leader?
We aren’t really sure. But for some reason, they are. And they’re gonna do something about it!
“Well, here it is: Duke fans, and specifically the Crazies, have a chance to hold ESPN accountable. It would be great to deny them that money shot of Crazies in full splendor. It would be classic if, rather than that, whenever the camera panned over them, the Crazies just crossed their arms en masse and stared at the camera until it went away”
Yeah, you hear that ESPN?! They’re going cross their arms! That’ll teach them to only broadcast 20 of Duke’s games instead of all 30!
We probably shouldn’t be surprised by this. We are dealing with the “Cameron Crazies” after all (the last guy is the best):
