Walk of Shame: Guaranteed Piece of [Bleep]

By Chris Mottram
Think back to your college days – or to perhaps this morning – and you should recall what the “walk of shame†is. Things are still blurry as you try to sort out what happened last night. Much like when your roommate helped you recall the debauchery, so to are we here to help sort out yesterday’s sports madness.

The Guarantee Fairy Might Come By and Leave the Steelers a Quarter
Anothony Smith might wanna go ahead and sit a few plays out. After letting teams compete with them the last two weeks, the Pats proved that there is no hope for any other franchises, and we should all stop watching football now. Seriously, just root for your team to lose. They’ll get a better draft pick. [Note: Headline is a pretty obvious Tommy Boy reference.]
The Colts Are Good at Football Too
Does the fact that Indy beat Baltimore 44-20 last night mean that the Colts are better than the Patriots? Probably not, but Peyton Manning is still a better quarterback than Tom Brady. That’s based on nothing other than my dislike for Dreamboat.
So Much For That ‘Fire Norv’ Movement
After starting 1-3, the Chargers are now 8-5 and on the cusp of winning the division. A site dedicated to getting a winning coach fired just seems silly at this point. Then again, so is one aimed at having a Hall of Famer sent packing. Just for comedy’s sake, you have to hope the Marty-less Chargers make the playoffs with 10 wins and win the Super Bowl.
People Wish to Do Jamaal Tinsley Harm
Trouble just finds Jamaal Tinsley. Clearly, it can’t be his fault. The latest incident involves a club called Cloud 9, an assault rifle, and cops being called at 3:40 AM. But, according to Pacers coach Jim O’Brien, “To the best of our knowledge, [Tinsley] was a victim.” Team pres Larry Bird is gonna give Tinsley a talkin’ to today, but something tells me you don’t run into these sort of problems in French Lick. Might be kinda hard for him to relate.
