Unless you’re just emerging from a rock-like structure, you’ve surely heard by now that Michael Vick was sentenced to 23 months in prison today. Although with “good behavior,” he could get three months knocked off that and be looking at a summer ‘09 release.
Naturally, this raises so many pressing questions that we may never know the answers to. Such as “who cares?” and “no, seriously, you care about this?”
We already knew Vick was guilty, we already knew he was going to jail, and -- if you’re like me -- we had already forgotten about this guy. Or at least tried to. I’m sure ESPN will do its best to remind us of Vick’s less-than-tragic story tonight, and attempt to make us care about the future of the QB position in Atlanta.
Solution: Just reunite Brian Brohm with Bobby Petrino and make pretend like this season never happened.
