After being turned down by Les Miles and Greg Schiano, the latest rumor is that Michigan is interested in hiring current Dolphins coach Cam Cameron.

Yeah, the 0-(soon to be)16 Cam Cameron.
With Saints coach Sean Payton not interested in becoming the next head coach at the University of Michigan, there’s talk in league circles that Athletic Director Bill Martin wants to pursue Dolphins coach Cam Cameron, if Cameron is fired.
Cameron does have ties to Michigan. He was the team’s quarterbacks coach from 1985-1993. During that time, Jim Harbaugh was an All-American QB for the Wolverines. Plus, Cameron worked with the likes of Todd Collins, who we now know is one of the greatest QBs of his generation.
He was also the head coach at Indiana from 1997-2001, where he won exactly 18 more games than he has in the NFL. Which, spread out over five seasons, is pretty outstanding.
Come to think of it, how is this guy a head coach anywhere? As far as I can tell, the only successful thing he’s ever done was “coach” L.T. into running for 31 touchdowns last year.
