Think back to your college days – or to perhaps this morning – and you should recall what the “walk of shame†is. Things are still blurry as you try to sort out what happened last night. Much like when your roommate helped you recall the debauchery, so to are we here to help sort out yesterday’s sports madness.

First Team to Eight Wins, Um, Wins
As predicted here yesterday, MNF was completely unwatchable (really went out on a limb with that one, I know). The Saints realized they’re a better team without Bush, and won 34-14 to improve to 6-7. They’re now tied with the Redskins, Cardinals and Lions for the 7th spot in the standings, all trying to overtake the 7-6 Vikings for the final Wild Card spot. Nine words that have never been uttered: Huge game between the Saints and Cardinals this weekend. Looking at the schedules for these four teams, Arizona has by far the easiest (N.O., Atlanta, St. Louis), while Washington has the toughest (Giants, Minnesota, Dallas). If Arizona makes the playoff, then the NFC West needs to officially be demoted to being the NFL’s minor league. It’s a complete joke of a division.
Pats Favored By Four Scores Over the Jets
New York is currently a 24 point underdog against New England this weekend. Most teams would be happy to score that many points, let alone win by that margin. Although, I can totally see a scenario in which Belichick lets Brady throw about 60 times against the hated Jets and the Pats score 150 points.
Nationals Quietly Keep Making Moves
Lost amongst the Johan Santana talk is all the deals Washington has made over the past couple weeks. They acquired Lastings Milledge, Elijah Dukes, Aaron Boone, and now, Paul Lo Duca. Can you say “80 wins”?
