Falcons WRs Think Vick Should Be Freed? Really?

By Chris Mottram
This video is completely ridiculous for two reasons. First, because of the conversation going on between Kornheiser and Jaws about whether or not Chris Redman -- a 30 year-old, part-time QB -- is the future of the Falcons. Second, for the shirt Roddy White displays after scoring the touchdown. It reads “Free Mike Vick”:

Now, I totally understand supporting your friend and teammate, but why exactly should Mike Vick be freed? He did admit to committing several felonies, right? It’s not as if he’s being wrongfully detained for some questionable crime. We aren’t talking about Nelson Mandela here.
Oh, oh, this is why: “‘The team misses him and we really need him this season,’ said receiver Roddy White.”
Well, in that case, they should absolutely free Vick. You hear that, judge? The Falcons miss him bunches. And, how can you expect them to win football games without a QB? Surely you can overlook Vick’s transgressions, at least from the hours of noon-to-midnight every Sunday.
(Thanks to Brian at Awful Announcing for the video)
