Hall Says Petrino Used Falcons as ‘Stepping Stone’

By Chris Mottram
DeAngelo Hall is not at all happy with Bobby Petrino right about now.
On SportsCenter last night, Hall let loose about the ex-Falcons coach. Some of the gems included saying that Pentrino “lied” to owner Arther Blank, used the franchise as a “stepping stone” to get back into college coaching, and was never cut out to be an NFL coach, among other choice words. Enjoy:

Juts as I totally understand Petrino wanted to get out of Atlanta as quickly as possible, I also find it easy to sympathize with Hall’s position. Obviously, he’s frustrated about many factors surrounding their horrible season, and this Petrino situation is a great outlet for him to let loose.
