Maybe Michigan should try this.
On Duke’s official human resources site, they have posted a listing for the position of “head football coach.”
All the details are spelled out on the university’s human resources Web site, where -- right above an ad for a nursing assistant -- there’s a job posting for “Head Football Coach.” Just click to apply.
Here is a screen grab from the site as visual evidence:

The “work performed” section has a disclaimer at the end: “This is not intended to be an exhaustive list of all responsibilities and duties required of personnel so classified.” Yeah, I’d hope this wasn’t exhaustive seeing as no where does it mention anything about winning football games.
Although I guess Duke doesn’t care much about their football program. They’ve won 22 games in the last 13 seasons. And don’t give me that bull about collegiate athletics are for molding young men, building character, etcetera, etcetera. It’s about winning and making money. And allowing students to embarrass themselves. Just look at their basketball program.
