The former No. 1 pick had 3.5 sacks in the Texans 31-13 win over the Broncos. “‘This is our first big-stage game,’ Williams said. ‘Everybody was watching. We were the only game on.’” What’s the word to describe Williams? Ah yes, delusional. A) NFL Network does not qualify as the “big stage” yet, B) I, along with everyone else with Time Warner Cable, was not watching. Although he’s right, they were the only game on ... in about 60% of the country.
It’s Easy to Beat S.A. Without Their Two Best Players
Actually, it wasn’t easy, but the Lakers managed to beat the Duncan and Parker-less Spurs 102-97. That’s right, Kobe Bryant can beat a team that’s starting two back-ups. He’s just that good.
Horford Suspended For Mauling T.J. Ford’s Face
Although everyone involved -- and present -- for the hardest foul of the season seems to agree it was not intentional, Al Horford was still suspended for one game. I think it’s clear that he didn’t purposefully try to rip Ford’s face from his head, but let’s take one more look just for fun:
