For a couple months now, Spencer Hall (or you might know him better as Orson Swindle) from Every Day Should Be Saturday fame has been writing columns for SportingNews.com. Today, I’m pleased to announce that Spencer is now a full-time writer for Sporting News.
As a result, you’ll be seeing him all up in this space starting this Friday, the 21st, as he’ll post several times a day in The Sporting Blog. He’ll also continue to maintain EDSBS along with writing columns for SN.com. Prolific is a word that comes to mind when talking about Spencer.
Although I’ve been given no such authority, I’ll speak for everyone when I say that we couldn’t be more excited about this. You won’t find a better writer on the internet, and although he’ll surely make my chicken-scratch look like child’s play, he’ll significantly improve the quality of both this blog and SN.com in general.
So please, won’t you help me welcome this fine addition to our site. It’s going to be a good year. And we aren’t finished. There are more new-writer announcements to come in the near future.
