It was a week ago that Vick was sentenced and Roddy White flashed his “Free Mike Vick” t-shirt after scoring a touchdown on MNF. That ridiculous gesture -- which made no sense to start with -- has cost White, and others, a little more than some pocket change.
Roddy White, Alge Crumpler, DeAngelo Hall, and Chris Houston were all fined $10,000.
Joe Horn also was fined $7,500 for pulling up White’s jersey to reveal his “Free Mike Vick” T-shirt.
According to PFT, the normal fine for a “uniform violation” is $7,500. But, the only player who seemed to alter his uniform was White for wearing the t-shirt. So this means the other players -- such as Hall pictured above -- were fined simply for showing support for Vick.
The NFL’s power trip knows no bounds.
In other Falcons bad news, Bill Cowher wants no part of that mess.
