Marc Bulger Should Wear His Helmet at All Times

By Chris Mottram
Apparently there is some sort of gravitational pull surrounding Marc Bulger’s head that forces anything within 100 yards to strike him with significant force, thus leaving him inevitably concussed.
Either that or he’s just really unlucky. I’m going with the gravitational pull theory though.

In the Rams’ Week 12 game against the Seahawks, Bulger was concussed in the first quarter and left the field for the hospital. Although he was not scheduled to start in their next game, Bulger was hanging around practice that week sans helmet. Bad idea.
Marc Bulger’s return from a concussion received a setback two weeks ago during practice when he was struck on the head by a football.
Team sources said Bulger was struck with an errant throw by a teammate — not a quarterback. The ball traveled 30 to 40 yards before hitting Bulger, who wasn’t wearing a helmet.
Team sources said the blow definitely delayed Bulger’s recovery time.
Bulger did not return to the line-up until Week 15. So, it’s quite possible that he missed an extra game because a teammate threw a bad ball.
Gravity, man. Gravity.
