All right, get ready for the most unbelievable thing you’ll read all day:
Two days after flirting with the Michigan job, Rutgers coach Greg Schiano has decided he will stay in New Jersey.
Okay, this is just getting ridiculous. After last season, he turned down Miami, and now this? Schiano would rather stay at Rutgers in New Jersey -- a lovely part of the country, I realize -- instead of coaching at Michigan. Really!?!
Now, I understand Rutgers has a long and storied football history, but we’re talking about Michigan here. That has to be, what, top five in coaching dream jobs?
But I suppose you can’t argue with Rutgers’ success. I mean they are, after all, playing Ball State in the International Bowl. In Canada. On ESPN2. So put that in your pipe, Michigan. What bowl are the Wolverines playing in? Huh? Stupid Capital One Bowl. On New Years day. Against Florida. On ABC.
Oh, never mind.
