O.J. Simpson’s violated a term of his bail and has been detained by authorities in Florida. The exact nature of the violation remains unclear, leaving pseudo-media types to guess as to what exactly triggered the arrest.
We’re guessing that instead of this being a new violation, this is in fact an old violation dating back to the ‘80s, actually. It only seems like a novel idea until you watch this old Hertz Rent-A-Car commercial.
O.J. Simpson Violates Bail and Good Taste Again
It’s that yellow swimsuit OJ has hiked up halfway to his neck on the beach that did it--it’s a violation of good taste and the law transcending space and time.
Should Terry Bradshaw or JaMarcus Russell consider breaking the law and then violating the terms of their bail, they should beware the consequences of this arrest, too.
The best quote from the article describing the arrest:
A bail bondsman at You Ring We Spring bail bonds in North Las Vegas declined to comment.
You have seriously mismanaged your resources in life when “You Ring, We Spring” holds sway over your freedom of movement. Remember this well, reader.
P.S. As it turns out, here’s the violation.
Prosecutors allege that Simpson, identifying himself as “Miguel,” telephoned Clarence “C.J.” Stewart on Nov. 16 and expressed frustration with Stewart’s testimony at a preliminary hearing, court spokesman Michael Sommermeyer said.
