Chris Littmann breaks down the ongoing action of the Seahawks-Packers NFC Division Playoff matchup:

End of the first half
On the strength of a play I’m still trying to digest, the Packers take a 28-17 lead into the locker room. Outside of a few big hits, the offense has been at an advantage, which was more than a little bit surprising given the weather conditions. His two fumbles not withstanding, Ryan Grant looks like the best running back on the field. You’d have to think some combination of Grant, Brandon Jackson and Vernand Morency will help to run the clock if the Packers can get another score on the board. Luckily for Seattle, it’ll have the ball to start the second half.
For your halftime amusement (4:55 mark, Caliendo as Madden on Favre)

And on the next play, Ryan Grant goes in for a 3-yard touchdown run, giving him an equal number of touchdowns and fumbles. The Packers lead 28-17. Now if you’ll excuse me, I’m going to rewind my DVR and watch that Favre pass again.
1:08
To quote Frank Caliendo doing a John Madden impersonation, “Brett Favre can throw the ball without moving his arm.” Seriously, in a play that only Favre makes, he nearly stumbles down on a sack, but makes an underhanded toss to Donald Lee that gives the Packers their third third-and-long conversion of the drive.
Two-minute warning
The Packers have converted two third-and-long situations on this drive, putting them in position to strike a critical blow before halftime. When they come back, it will be first-and-10 from the Seattle 16.
And while we wait
Word on Deion Branch is a knee injury. His return is doubtful.
7:18
OK, Bigby is playing out of this world. His presence, combined with a healthy shot on D.J. Hackett, force the Seahawks to settle for a field goal. At least Seattle proves it won’t just roll over and die in this one. Green Bay still holds a 21-17 lead.
11:12, continued
The Packers get flagged for just nailing Seahawks punter Ryan Plackemeier. That turns out to be huge as Matt Hasselbeck has passes of 20 yards (to Nate Burleson) and 11 yards (to Bobby Engram).
11:12
Only one quick thought as the Seahawks line up to punt ... Packers safety Atari Bigby has horrible tackling form (he isn’t wrapping anyone up) but he is nailing guys. He’s like a Seahawk-seeking missile.

13:22
Poor coverage and great touch from Brett Favre leads to Greg Jennings’ second touchdown of the day. This pass comes from two yards out and after being down by two scores, the Packers have scored 21 straight to lead 21-14. Take a deep breath, we’re barely more than a quarter into this one.
14:54 remaining
Atari Bigby absolutely drills Marcus Pollard on the first play of the quarter. (Cue the sideline screaming “Ball!”). The Packers recover the fumble and after a few short gains by Ryan Grant, the Packers already are looking at first-and-goal. There’s no reason for anyone to get comfortable in a spot on the bench. Turnovers are plentiful today and a possession change could happen at any time.
What we learned in the first quarter
As I said before, no shortage of offense. Now we’ve got statistical proof. The combined total of 28 points tied the NFL postseason record for points in the first quarter.↵
