I believe that last night while watching the Australian Open, I witnessed tennis history – the first known instance (at least known to me) of a tennis player wearing his cap with a gangsta lean, tilted down and to the right in true hip-hop style.

The gangsta in question is Frenchman Jo-Wilfried Tsonga (gonna have to work on that handle there, g), who upset ninth-seeded Andy Murray in four sets. Though the picture above doesn’t quite do it justice, I’m telling you early in the match, Tsonga was straight-up kicking his lid all C.C. Sabbathia in there. Now if someone will just convince Adam Scott to rock a do-rag at the Masters, I can die a happy man.
Editor’s Note: Donald Young wishes to be recognized for his frat-boy-meets-gangsta-lean tennis hat style.↵
