The Super Bowl will already feature the most relevant rock star in current popular American music when Tom Petty melts your face during halftime, so why not add the biggest T.V. personalities to the festivities?
FOX has announced that the “stars” of “American Idol” will join the pregame broadcast. Well, sans Simon Cowell, who is the only actual star of that show. Says [Fox Sports Chairman David] Hill: ‘What I’m trying to do, obviously, is meld two television icons.’”[/quote]
