Yesterday, we pointed out the insanity of Golfweek’s swinging noose cover. Today, the editor -- Dave Seanor -- has been fired.

So, kids, what have we learned? First, don’t be racist. Racism is bad. I’m not saying Mr. Seanor is a racist, but his choice of images for the cover of a national publication was -- in the eyes of many -- less than P.C. Which leads us to the second thing we learned: Don’t use images of swinging nooses on the cover of sports magazines. Or burning crosses. Or swastikas. Sure, you might get some free pub out of your blatant recklessness, but in the end, you’ll be fired. Which will lead to infinite sadness. And possible homelessness.
