Face price of a Super Bowl ticket? A whopping $700 for nosebleeds from the box office. Of course, you will not get box office tickets, because you are not a VIP, a celeb, or otherwise “in” with the mysterious powers controlling the allotment of tickets. You can still purchase them on the glorious free market, though, for the low low price of just $4,451 dollars, according to the Boston Globe. It’s even a problem for bigshots like Bill Murray and Dave Letterman, as evidenced from their on-air last minute scramble for tickets from CBS president Les Moonves.
Super Bowl Ticket Price Average: $4,451
$4,451 is, for the record, greater than the total yearly average income per person for 110 countries worldwide. Take that, Mali, Mozambique, and Mongolia! Actually, if you were to try to fly roundtrip from New York to all three of these countries in one trip, it would cost $16,000 dollars or so, or the price of roughly one and a half tickets on the 50 yard line at this year’s Super Bowl.
