FirstCuts: A Charles Barkley Role Playing Game

Sports don’t start and end with a referee’s whistle. FirstCuts, a blog dedicated to sports culture, will cover everything outside the lines, from games to gear.
I’m sort of at a loss on this one. I’ve never been an avid fan -- or even really a player -- of RPGs (role playing games). I think I owned one of the Final Fantasy games for the first PlayStation, and I was totally perplexed so I didn’t play it very long.
And it’s with all of that in mind that I bring you Barkley Shut Up and Jam: Gaiden, as first spotted on Joystiq. If you’re wondering about the name, it’s an homage to Barkley: Shut Up And Jam and Barkley Shut Up And Jam 2 (and I’m guessing Ninja Gaiden). Check out the teaser and download the free game here.

Evidently, this thing has been in the works for a while, judging from the comments on YouTube. I only played it for a few minutes, but with a storyline like that, it’s worth a shot, right?
