Sports don’t start and end with a referee’s whistle. FirstCuts, a blog dedicated to sports culture, will cover everything outside the lines, from games to gear.
I’m not sure why these images aren’t already readily available, but for your approval, via the always-reliable Kenlu.net (sorry, it’s another site you’ll need to run through Google translator), I give you the 2008 NBA All-Star Game jerseys.

Your thoughts? My humble opinion is that nothing will ever be as hot as the 1988 All-Star Uniforms (which were trotted out again in 2003) or as creative and odd looking as the ones from San Antonio in 1996. I think if you’re going to go weird ... go real weird.
