Huge ‘Roos With Stylish Glasses Invade Aussie Open

ESPN has a proud tradition of producing asinine segments to lead into and out of commercial breaks. Who can forget those hot fashion shows during the 2006 NFL Draft? And last year, viewers were subjected to Big East basketball players doing a halfhearted “lean wit it” dance to an even worse hip-hop song during the conference tournament.
Carrying the mantle in 2008 are these grown men dressed as kangaroos, who you can see spliced between match highlights during the Australian Open.

Judging by the neon-rimmed sunglasses, these kangaroos are from the ‘80s. If those are goggles above said shades, they seem a bit superfluous -- unless they’re biker kangaroos, a theory bolstered by the ultra-masculine fingerless gloves and studded collars.↵
