Tilghman’s Apologizes; Hopefully Tiger Reads Lips

Kelly Tilghman returned to work for the Golf Channel this afternoon for the network’s coverage of the Buick Invitational. The telecast began with a public apology from the commentator but it took the network a few seconds to realize the sound wasn’t on. She then went into the intro for the tournament which was more of a glowing view of Tiger Woods than anything else:

While the apology was probably necessary, I think we can all move past her comment and go back to not watching Golf until major tournaments. In case you do care, Tiger Woods is tied for the lead with Rory Sabatini and Stuart Appleby at 5-under.↵
