HOK, the company who designed the new Twins stadium, unveiled a 25 square foot model of the stadium yesterday, which is set to open in 2010:

The stadium looks cool and all, but let’s get back to the model itself. As mentioned, it was 25 sqaure feet, making it the largest model the company has ever created. It has a working TV screen where the jumbotron will go, and took three average-sized humans more than six hours to disassemble. Now that’s how you show up for a presentation.
The Pirates, on the other hand, just settled for low-budget artist renderings of their new facility in the Dominican:

While we’re here, I’d just like to point out that anytime I hear or use the word “facility,” I automatically think of Chip Douglas.
