Not Fair: Balloon Baffles Goalie

I now boldly predict balloon celebrations on the visitors’ side of the field for all Premier League soccer matches. As you can see in the clip from Man City’s match against Sheffield United, they may not actually change the trajectory of a ball in motion, but they can certainly make a nasty decoy for a confused goalie.

You want added agony? We’ve got added agony for you. Goalie Michael Ball’s momentary lapse with the decoy balloon mattered: Sheffield won the match 2-1, crashing Man City out of the fourth round of the FA cup and advancing Sheffield.
