Because I’m not a journalist, I really don’t care about how Wes Welker “stays so humble” or how it will feel for Strahan to “go out a winner” or how Jared Lorenzen will get himself “mentally prepared” should Eli get hurt on Sunday (all of these I overhead reporters asking about).
No, for me, it was more interesting to eavesdrop on private conversations amongst athletes. The best of which occurred right after this embrace:
