FirstCuts: Do Not Look Directly At Bob Huggins

By Jim Ryan
Sports don’t start and end with a referee’s whistle. FirstCuts, a blog dedicated to sports culture, will cover everything outside the lines, from games to gear.
I know it’s not cool for a dude to criticize another dude’s outfit, but I can’t resist. Bob Huggins wore a gold suit in West Virginia’s game on Wednesday. It has four buttons, two of which are actually fastened. He has gold shoes to match his suit, and his pants are about six inches too long.

The man on the right side of the photo is hanging his head in shame. I’d like to think this was not because his team was en route to a 23-point home loss to Cincinnati (Huggins’ former team), but because his head coach is dressed like a pimp.
Someone, please tell me there is some good reason Huggins is wearing this suit.
Editor’s Note: This is, by far, the biggest image we’ve used here on TSB. If we broke someone’s monitor because of Bob Huggins’ suit, we apologize.↵
