LiveBlog: Titans-Chargers, fourth quarter

Vinnie Iyer breaks down the ongoing action of the Titans-Chargers first-round AFC playoff game:
(Refresh page for the latest updates)
Bolts two minutes from Colts (2:00 left): OK, Norv Turner survived with his team to get one big playoff win, but next week is the big one. If he can beat Indy for the second time this season -- this time on the road -- it will be going a step further than Martyball did in last year’s playoffs. Of course, it won’t be easy -- the Colts swept the Titans and they will be much healthier and mightier playoff opponents, especially far away from California.
You knew this was next (3:33 left): If the Chargers were to hold an 11-point lead with fewer than four minutes on the clock, an interception was inevitable. After all, they lead the league with 30 in the regular season, or eight more than the Titans. The cornerback and wide receiver play has been much improved for San Diego this season.
Worn-down Titans line, part 2 (3:56 left): Tennessee’s defensive front seven is starting to wilt, too, as both LT and Michael Turner are finding some creases and working well together at working the clock. The Chargers don’t score with their run-heavy drive, but they get in position to punt to pin the Titans at their own 6 with only two timeouts left in a two-possession game.
Worn-down Titans line, part 1 (7:28 left): Tennessee’s offensive linemen have played their guts out today in trying to handle the Chargers’ swarming 3-4, but the wall is starting to crumble. They give up back-to-back sacks of Vince Young, as Shawne Merriman, Shaun Phillips and Luis Castllo are taking over.
What a relief for LT (8:45 left): It’s been a brutally tough day for LaDainian Tomlinson, who has only 30 rushing yards on 19 carries, but two plays make all the difference. First, he sneaks away inside the 10 to get the Chargers to the goal line on a pass from Philip Rivers, and after further review, goes airborne to put the ball in on fourth-and-goal from 1. You can see the vindication on his face, that the TD was the fruit of some major labor, and that elusive playoff victory is very close to reality. LT should be very happy that for a change, he got big-time help from the Chargers’ wide receivers. What a pickup Chris Chambers (39-yard catch on the scoring drive) has turned out to be. San Diego 17, Tennessee 6.
Titans’ tide has turned (14:03 left): Tennessee was just trying to hold on in this game, and it had a good answer going for San Diego’s go-ahead TD, until another drive stalled in the red zone and the unthinkable happens -- Rob Bironas misses a field-goal try. The Titans like to hang around and steal games late, so the Chargers, still up only four, need to try to put them away with a couple more big plays on this next drive.↵
