The Superdome does present some challenges for a television crew wanting to do a live shoot: surrounded by concrete in an industrial downtown, bounded on one side by a thick knot of overpasses, and swamped with tipsy fans headed to the game.
ESPN’s solution to the problem? Build your own treehouse, of course.

The ESPN camp was tightly run one. The Gameday bus was parked on the street, and a fenced off area cordoned off a little track that Herbstreit, Corso, and Fowler ran all day: up the stairs, update, then back down to the bus.↵
