Walk of Shame: That felt awfully familiar

Think back to your college days – or to perhaps this morning – and you should recall what the “walk of shame” is. Things are still blurry as you try to sort out what happened last night. Much like when your roommate helped you recall the debauchery, so too are we here to help sort out yesterday’s sports madness.

Maybe Ohio State should sit the next one out
The Buckeyes jumped ahead 10-0 -- not unlike last year’s quick start against Florida -- but was downhill from there. LSU made like the Gators and ripped the Buckeyes, 38-24, to win their second BCS title. Was anyone else hoping Les Miles would accept the trophy and then announce he was the next coach of the Miami Dolphins?
Roger Clemens, Brian McNamee talk it out
Clemens has filed a defamation suit against McNamee for his statements in the Mitchell report. The two spoke last Friday and now the conversation is out in the open for everyone to hear. McNamee sounds legitimately terrified, no?

Another team barely outscored Ohio State
Savannah State scored one field goal and four points in the second half of their 85-25 loss to Kansas State. Just think, if Ryan Pretorius doesn’t have his field goal blocked, the Buckeyes could’ve at least gotten the best of the Savannah State basketball team.
