‘Horns Hanging Tight With Sooners

↵We have a 21-20 ballgame, Oklahoma ↵leading Texas by the slimmest margin at the half. While ↵there’s been a lot of sloppy play for each offense, the big ↵plays have made up for it.
↵
↵A five-minute stretch at the top of the second quarter ↵stands out. Sam Bradford marched the Sooners down the ↵field. A short pass down to the two bounced off the OU ↵receiver’s hands ... but teammate Ryan Broyles scooped the ↵ricochet just inches before it touched the turf for an ↵improbable TD which spread the margin to 11 (14-3). Texas’s ↵Jordan Shipley answered by taking the resulting kick-off ↵back to for a score. A few plays into Oklahoma’s next ↵possession, Bradford floated the ball to tight end Jermaine ↵Gresham on an out pattern which ended up going for a long ↵52-yard score.
↵
↵Things calmed down -- Texas took a long drive down for a ↵touchdown to get it to 21-17, and added a half-ending field ↵goal. It feels like Oklahoma has dominated in total, but ↵Colt McCoy’s steady play along with OU’s inability to ↵tackle in special teams has everyone in Dallas biting ↵nails.↵
