Erin Andrews Learns That Bobby Bowden Has Connections Beyond Our Understanding

I was really, really afraid the entire national viewing audience would hear Bobby Bowden’s top-shelf profanities live and on air when this happened:↵

↵Fortunately for Bowden, he seems to have the same vocabulary of anger on camera and off: “dadgummit.” You can see that Erin Andrews follows, then realizes Bowden isn’t going to go to her first, and then follows anyway to get whatever Bowden is going to say to the officials. This worked with Bowden, who may really have been the basis for the character of Foghorn Leghorn, but a similar follow-up in an interview with Pete Carroll or Mark Mangino could have ESPN audio techs throwing themselves off the second deck when audible and numerous profanities are caught on live mikes.↵

↵Not that this wouldn’t be screamingly funny, but still, we don’t want Erin Andrews to lose her job or anything, because two crucial industries as we know it would grind to a halt: the internet, and the puffy blouse manufacturers of the world.
