The Bills Have No Use for Electricity

↵The power has gone off a few times at Ralph Wilson Stadium in lovely Buffalo, delaying the game and forcing fans at home to watch parts of Pittsburgh-Cincinnati. (The horror!) CBS seems to have its broadcast in order now, though ... just in time for an inspiring Bills drive which ended with a hilarious Marshawn Lynch hustle into the end zone. Buffalo leads San Diego 20-14 heading into the fourth.
↵
↵Buffalo seems real alive right now, making all the hard hits and keeping San Diego’s usually potent offense off-kilter. LaDainian Tomlinson has done jack, the Bills are riding Darren Sproles into the ground, and most of Philip Rivers’ throws have been of the shorter variety.
↵
↵Meanwhile, St. Louis has pulled out to a 31-7 lead (!) over Dallas on the back of a third TD for Steven Jackson. Still no Romo, despite a second Brad Johnson INT. Adrian Peterson is trying to keep Minnesota alive in Chicago (41-31 Bears) with a violet-hued messianic 110 yards and two scores. Chicago has two special teams TDs: one on a twice-blocked punt (don’t ask) and the other on a muffed Minnesota return. Also, Gus Frerotte is making the case for a Tavarisurrection (3 INTs).
↵
↵Still no points for Kansas City. Good news, though: Tyler Thigpen has relieved Damon Huard of duty. Huard’s day just got a whole lot better.↵
