Here’s a nice snapshot of the state of street ball moves, or at least what McDonald’s thought the were, circa 1991. Street Ballin’, Aerobics With MJ, Dr. J

↵And speaking of funny old commercials with possible historical significance, what about the 1987 spot after the jump for the definitive “Dr. J Video Cassette”? You get highlights, a music video I’d love to see, and most importantly of all, a chance to be lead in aerobics by Erving (about 0:16 in). Somehow, this all adds up to bringing the Good Doctor into your living room. Oh how technology has the ability to completely scramble the collective brain of marketing and advertising!
