Top Hockey Fights of the Weekend

I guess I could write some more about how the Edmonton Oilers tossed a blogger out of their press box last week and how it might trigger the fall of Western Civilization as we know it, but that wouldn’t be nearly as much fun as deciding which bout was the best hockey fight of this past weekend.↵
↵
↵Here now, courtesy of my friends at Hockeyfights.com, are the two fights from last weekend currently ranked as the best of the weekend. First, from Friday night in Buffalo, I give you Andrew Peters of the Buffalo Sabres and Darcy Hordichuk of the Vancouver Canucks:↵

↵
↵That bout is currently rated at a 7.4, with voters giving Peters a slight edge in a decision. What do you think?↵

↵Next, from Saturday night in San Jose, here's Jody Shelley of the San Jose Sharks and the infamous Riley Cote of the Philadelphia Flyers:↵

↵
↵Voters currently rate that fight at a 7.5, while they seem to overwhelmingly agree that Shelley was the winner. That’s quite a turnaround from last February, when Cote schooled Shelley last February in Philadelphia.↵
