All Philadelphian eyes were alternately on the endless World Series pregame and The Weather Channel on Saturday. Some enterprising idiot fan may have wanted a bit more attention for the Flyers, or else he just wanted to get off a wild prank which will live on in infamy for at least a month or so. Regardless of motive, the execution -- as frightening as it looks -- was flawless as a spectator tossed a smelly smoke bomb onto the ice.

Fan Stinkbombs a Flyers Game
↵
↵The broadcasters seem entirely too amused about the idea a fan could throw what is basically a small explosive at players. The fellow with the more annoying high-pitched Canadian accent claims he saw a flame trailing from the bomb as it was lobbed onto the ice. Methinks he might have been brainwashed by the blue puck tail.
↵
↵Seriously though, what a ringing endorsement for the makers of the bomb (which the announcers claimed to smell up in the booth -- amazing!) and a complete indictment of Flyers security.
