Nebraska Wrestling Coach Has Bravery Surplus

I have immense respect for wrestlers, both for the kind who fight with folding chairs and the sort who wear singlets and do workouts most people would consider violations of Geneva Convention. Collegiate wrestling is a sport for marginally insane athletes and the totally insane who coach them, men precisely like Nebraska wrestling coach Mark Manning, who bet former Cornhuskers’ special teams mauler Brandon Rigoni that he could stop him at least once out of five tries in a one-on-one goal line situation at a Nebraska practice.↵
↵
↵Rather than doing the sane thing and declining the situation against a guy who played football, Manning accepted. The results were recorded on video. You should watch them, for they are awesome.↵

↵
↵The surprising results aside, this video should serve as a reminder that wrestlers and their ilk are tough and absolutely mad, and should be kept on your good side at all times.
