Rays Inspire Bikini Waxes; Tampa Men Rejoice

The Rays fans are still trying to figure out how to cope with their team being successful. In some ways, they’ve failed epically. I’m talking specifically about handing out cowbells to all those who attend their playoffs game. That’s bush league and incredibly annoying. Just ask Bobby Jenks.↵↵But the positive that’s come from Rays Mania is the Rayhawk. We mentioned it a couple weeks ago, after manager Joe Maddon joined in on the craze. Soon thereafter, fans all over the place were shaving Mohawks into their heads. But now the women of the greater Tampa-St. Pete area are getting in on the craze in their own, special way: ↵

↵⇥↵⇥Michelle Foster of Skin Deep Spatique in St. Petersburg says she was inspired by her son’s Mohawk, “I stopped and thought about it a minute, and thought, well now everyone can have one!”↵⇥

↵⇥↵⇥It seems to be making a lot of men happy, Michelle says, as women come home with what she calls a big “surprise.”↵⇥

↵↵And with that, every man in Florida is ecstatic that Rays fans went with the Mohawk fad instead of the afro. Or playoff beard.
