Seriously, Stop With the ‘Interactive Tuesday’

↵
↵Dear ESPN,
↵
↵I can tell you aren’t reading The Sporting Blog. I know this because despite Spencer Hall last week informing you of how insufferable “Interactive Tuesday” is, you continued to shove it down our throats again last night. ↵↵Listen: I had a long day yesterday, as I’m sure many other sports fans out there did. When I got home, all I wanted to do was relax and enjoy your super awesome 24-hour hoops marathon (thanks for that Drexel-Penn epic!). But instead, I got a non-stop stream of stupidity scrolling across the top of my screen. Naturally, I cannot stop looking at this nonsense, which in turn only makes me angry. And dumber just for having read them. If I wanted to see what CUSEROXMYSOX2287 thinks about the Big East, I’d go to some NCAA hoops message board, where this invaluable insight is supposed to be kept so the rest of us can avoid ever seeing it. ↵

↵↵Instead, there it is, in my living room while I’m trying to enjoy basketball. Please, we beg you, no more “Interactive Tuesday.” Please. ↵

↵↵Respectfully,↵

↵↵-- Chris Mottram, a member of the sport-loving universe that doesn’t feel the need to type in ALL CAPS with four exclamation marks following every half-coherent thought we write. Amazingly, the majority of fans are like me, something you, Worldwide Leader, don’t seem to realize. Hint: You can distinguish us from the others because we don’t type with just our index fingers. Thank you. ↵
