Tiger, Federer, Henry Are the Worst

There are countless commercials which make us want to break out television sets while watching sports -- certainly too many to mention them all here. For my money, anything involving being “saved by zero” or “free credit report dot com” is the absolute most annoying television ad of the year. But I’m not a professional in the field of marketing. They explain:↵↵⇥Campaign editor Claire Beale said: “The Gillette ad is an own goal, a double fault and a bunker shot rolled into one. ↵⇥↵⇥“To secure three of the world’s most famous sports stars would have cost Gillette millions but is such a wasted opportunity as the creative lacks any charm or wit.”↵⇥

↵↵Oh, sports metaphors! Well played. I always knew marketing students learned something during their four years in college, but never knew what, exactly. Touche, Claire.↵
