Iowa State Players React to L’Affair Chizik Not Unlike Auburn Fans

↵Once Auburn named Mean Gene Chizik head coach, Tigers fans went ballistic. Via Sports By Brooks, we learn that two Chizik recruits at Iowa State responded in a similar fashion. The Iowa State Daily reports that Cyclone freshman Darius Darks posted two videos on his Facebook Saturday ripping into Chizik once news of his Auburn flight leaked out.↵↵⇥“A lot of people asking me what I’m going to do with coach Chizik leaving. I understand business is business, but this man lied,” Darks said in the video. “At a team meeting he was sitting there saying ‘I told your mother, Jerrod Black, and I sat on your auntie’s couch, Darius Dark, and I told her I would take care of you while you was up here at Iowa State.’ Where’s that n---- at now? Auburn University.”

↵⇥In the second video, Darks introduces Jeremiah Schwartz, who was a freshman running back from Florida who played for the Cyclones in 2008. “Let me explain something really quick,” Schwartz said in the video. “Rule one: Don’t f--- with a Florida n----. Rule two: Don’t lie to your team. Rule three: Respect rule two.”↵↵Clearly, Chizik does not respect Darius Darks’ auntie nor Rule Two. The Daily reports that in the second video (both have disappeared), Darks pulled out a Michigan State jersey for some reason. Of course, MSU was far better than Iowa State this season, so maybe this pessimistic reaction to Chizik’s departure is the opposite to what should be expected.↵
