Goodbye Hoosier Dome

Indianapolis blew up the RCA Dome today, and no doubt the Colts (who settled into new digs this season) will be the most remembered tenants. But the old Hoosier Dome has hosted a ton of great sporting moments: the 1991 Final Four, Mike Bibby’s coming out party with Arizona in 1997, the 1985 NBA All-Star Game, and some college football. And who could forget Wrestlemania 8?↵

↵It’s interesting how stadium implosions draw out so many memories. But when you start to think about how many have pushed through the turnstiles of the Dome -- it’s pretty amazing. Also, explosions are pretty awesome.↵
