Gus Johnson Is Already in March Form

What was to be an outstanding day of college hoops quickly soured -- for those of us in the southeastern part of the country, at least. Duke crushed Xavier after a 22-3 start followed by Davidson and an unusually cold Steph Curry losing big to Purdue. We missed all of the Texas-Michigan State thriller, but an otherwise disappointing day was saved by the last two minutes of the Gonzaga-UConn contest, which CBS so mercifully showed us. ↵

↵Gonzaga seemed to have the game in hand, before making a costly turnover thanks to UConn’s press. Moments later, this happened, soundtracked by none other than Gus Johnson:↵

↵Unfortunately, Gus didn’t save any of his magic dust for overtime, which ended with UConn pulling away and winning anticlimactically, 88-83.↵
