Ryan Fitzpatrick Didn’t Even Need to Get Dressed For Bengals Win

↵Cincinnati beat the Browns in Cleveland 14-0 this afternoon. Bengals QB Ryan Fitzpatrick really didn’t have to do much: he had only nine attempts on the day, despite 32 minutes of possession for Cincy. Cedric Benson did all of the heavy lifting (38 carries, 171 yards) and the Cleveland QBs more or less handed the game to the cross-state rivals. Ken Dorsey and Bruce Gradkowski combined for four interceptions in 22 attempts. Beautiful work, fellows.

↵* As predicted, Kurt Warner came out of Arizona’s blowout loss in New England. Matt Leinart threw a 78-yard fourth quarter TD to Larry Fitzgerald to make the score a respectable 47-7.
↵
↵* The vaunted Steelers defense only got to Kerry Collins once, the vaunted Tennessee rushing attack did its job with 2 TDs and 120 yards, and the Titans rolled 31-14. Pittsburgh had a sliver of a prayer until 30 seconds left when, down 10, Ben Roethlisberger had a pass picked off and returned 83 yards for a score by Michael Griffin. Big Ben had four critical turnovers (2 INTs, 2 fumbles). The Titans clinch home field advantage throughout the AFC playoffs.
↵
↵* San Francisco had a stunning comeback against St. Louis. Well, as stunning as a win over the Rams can get, I suppose. S.F. trailed 16-3 with four minutes left. Shaun Hill then threw two TDs in three minutes, and the Niners defensive back Tarell Brown picked off Marc Bulger with 30 seconds left to seal a 17-16 win.
↵
↵* The Dolphins held off Kansas City, winning 38-31. Tyler Thigpen ended up with 300 yards, 3 TDs and 3 interceptions. Chad Pennington had 3 TDs of his own. Beating New York next week can get Miami to the playoffs.↵
