You’re forgiven if you missed Rutgers-Louisville Thursday night. Scarlet Knight back Jourdan Brooks wished he was doing something else, too. Via College Football Talk, here is the most painful tackle imaginable.

No Honor Among the Dreadlocked in Big East

↵Even Anquan Boldin cringed watching that (though not as badly as Larry Fitzgerald, I suppose). Brooks lost a dread and told the Newark Star-Ledger he had never felt pain like that before. From the way in which Brooks stopped cold when Louisville’s Travis Norton yanked down with both hands. I mean, unless Brooks uses Garnier Fructis shampoo he could kept the legs moving at the expense of his luscious locks. But sometimes you’ve got to cry uncle.

↵I find it shocking, however, that a man in dreads would tackle someone by the dreads. Remember when there existed honor among the hyphy? Travis Norton, turn in your dreadhead card. Post-Cosby Malcolm-Jamal Warner is ashamed.↵
