FirstCuts: Best Leap Year Film in Four Years Opens

Sports don’t start and end with a referee’s whistle. FirstCuts, a blog dedicated to sports culture, will cover everything outside the lines, from games to gear.
Unless you’ve been trapped in a glass case of emotion for the last four months or so, you know Semi-Pro, starring Will Ferrell, Woody Harrelson and Andre Benjamin (aka Andre 3000), opens today.

Andre 3000, half of the hip-hop group Outkast, stopped by to visit with the 2 Live Stews on Sporting News Radio not long ago and he dropped some knowledge about his movie as well as upcoming Outkast-related projects, including when we’ll get another new album. (‘Dre and Big Boi are taking their sweet time, but it’ll probably be worth it.) Give it a listen, and if you go check out the movie this weekend, let us know what you think.
