2008 NFL Draft Recap: Pick 16-20

16: Arizona Cardinals- Dominique Rogers-Cromartie, CB, Middle Tennessee

Arizona continues to build on defense by taking one of the biggest playmakers of the NFL Draft. DRC will step right in and take that defense to the next level. Look for Rolle to move to safety in the very near future

17: Detroit Lions - Gosder Cherilus, OT, Boston College

What? No wide receiver? An actual sensible pick? Cherilus is a great pick here that will make the Lions offensive line take a step in the right direction. Jon Kitna will be sacked at least 10% less in 2008

8: Baltimore Ravens - Joe Flacco, QB, Delaware

Is this the reach of the draft or did Baltimore finally find the quarterback of their future? From the moment Matt Ryan went to the Falcons it was clear that the Ravens went into panic mode, trading back with the Jaguars, and then up with the Texans to get their guy. Will he rip apart NFL cornerbacks like he did in the Non-Bowl-Subdivision?

19: Carolina Panthers - Jeff Otah, OT, Pittsburgh

Having a top running back is one thing, getting holes for him is something else entirely. Jeff Otah is the best OT on the board at this point and Carolina needs to keep their quarterbacks alive.

20: Tampa Bay - Aqib Talib, CB, Kansas

Jon Gruden must have salivated over Chad Henne at this spot, but he did the right thing and addressed his defense. Talib has some character concerns, but he’s a solid corner.
