At the end of the Hawks-Celtics Game 3, Paul Pierce and Al Horford got into a bit of a staring contest, or something. Horford seems to just walk away and turn his back, but Pierce decides to throw what appears to my suburban eye to be a gang sign in Horford’s direction:↵
We Must Question Paul Pierce’s Sign Language
↵↵Despite having watched way too many of HBO’s “Gang Wars” documentaries, I’m not totally up on my gang signs, so I did some research into this. According to the always 100% reliable internet, the sign that Pierce flashed is that of the Bloods, and specifically, L.A.-based Bounty Hunters. As you surely know, Pierce went to high school in L.A. ↵
↵↵But I digress, if only for my own safety. Pointing fingers at possible gangsters is not recommended. Although whether it was or wasn’t a gang sign, David Stern was frightened enough by it to fine Pierce $25,000.↵
