Take Note, Buzz: This Is What it Looks Like When Adults Have a Discussion

I wanted to throw up a quick post about what a good discussion about sports media looks like, and I’m shocked -- shocked! -- that it came from FSN’s

The Best Damn Sports Show Period

. This show, known for highlighting scantily clad women (not that there’s anything wrong with that), decided to sit down with Will Leitch the day after he got ambushed on

Costas Now

. Your players (from left to right) are hosts Chris Rose and John Salley, Leitch, Memphis Coach John Calipari, and playing the role of Braylon Edwards: Chargers LB Shaun Phillips.↵

↵↵Here’s the thing that amazed me about the clip: Not only did they let Leitch talk, disagree with him, and let him counter their disagreements, they even said that he’s doing a good job (that came from Calipari of all people). I never thought I’d say this, but Bob Costas needs to be taking notes from The BDSSP.↵

↵↵Ed. Note: Our apologies for this clip cutting off about halfway. Brian is having some technically difficulties. The entire segment can be seen at Deadspin.
